National Day of Remembrance
To commemorate the National Day of Remembrance, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the May 8, 1945 massacres, the Consulate General of Algeria in New York organized a tribute ceremony as an expression of gratitude for the sacrifices of our ancestors and an inspiration drawn from the lessons embodied by their glorious struggle.
On this occasion, the national flag was raised, Al-Fatiha was recited in memory of the martyrs, and a speech was delivered to mark this solemn anniversary.

إحياءا لليوم الوطني للذاكرة والمصادف للذكرى الثمانين لمجازر 08 ماي1945، نظمت القنصلية العامة الجزائرية بنيويورك وقفة إجلال وتقدير تعبيرًا عن الوفاء لتضحيات أسلافنا واستلهامًا للدروس والعبر التي جسدها نضالهم المجيد.
وبهذه المناسبة تم رفع العلم الوطني وقراءة فاتحة الكتاب ترحما على أرواح الشهداء بالإضافة إلى إلقاء كلمة بهذه الذكرى.
