In Algeria, April 16th is celebrated as Knowledge Day, a national occasion dedicated to science, learning, and enlightenment. It commemorates the legacy of Abdelhamid Ben Badis, a visionary scholar who championed education, critical thinking, and cultural revival. This day reminds us of the power of knowledge to transform individuals and uplift societies.
To mark this special occasion, we are excited to announce that we will be organizing a Science and Cultural Event at the Algerian Consulate on May 4th, a celebration that will bring together minds and hearts around science, heritage, and discovery. Join us in honoring the pursuit of knowledge and the lasting impact it continues to have on our communities and our world.

في الجزائر، يُصادف يوم 16 أفريل “يوم العلم” — مناسبة وطنية تُعنى بالعلم، والتعليم، والتنوير. ويأتي هذا اليوم تخليدًا لذكرى الشيخ عبد الحميد بن باديس، العلّامة والمصلح الذي كرس حياته لنشر التعليم، وترسيخ التفكير النقدي، وإحياء الثقافة الوطنية.
إنه يوم يُذكرنا بقدرة المعرفة على النهوض بالأفراد والمجتمعات نحو مستقبل أفضل.
